Game keeps lagging/freezing in battle

Whenever I enter any battle, my game always starts to constantly lag but after the battle is done everything is fine and isn't lagging as much anymore. I would really appreciate the help to know whats going on.

I'm getting the same issue its very annoying. Maybe I must of done something wrong during the game download? Could use help :/

I don't know anything about this. Can you turn on framerate display by hitting F12 and let me know what your framerate is. If you are using a non-potato computer and have graphics drivers installed it should be 60 or higher.
